My research examines cognitive and brain development, as well as issues of brain plasticity. More specifically, I study the development of the cognitive and neurological bases of attention, face processing, visuo-spatial processing, hemispheric specialization, and interhemispheric interaction. To address these issues in normally developing children, adults and some clinical populations I use an integrated approach, that combines different behavioral paradigms, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and neuropsychological assessments.
