Temperament & Emotions Study

This study examines the development of children's emotions and temperament traits, and how these relate to their parents' personality, emotions, and the family environment. There are four different parts of this study:

  1. Children participate in tasks and games designed to measure his or her emotions and temperament traits.
  2. Parents complete interview and questionnaire measures of their own emotions and personality traits.
  3. Parents complete brief questionnaires describing child's behavior at later time periods (6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 30 months after the first visit).
