Rebecca Campbell
Research focuses on violence against women, specifically sexual assault and how the legal, medical, and mental systems respond to the needs of rape survivors.
William S. Davidson II
Major interests are on research and intervention concerned with innovative social change. Current projects are in the areas of juvenile justice system innovation, prisoner re-entry, drug treatment in correctional settings, violence against women, and justice systems reform.
Hiram E. Fitzgerald
Developmental systems theory and biopsychosocial approaches to: the etiology of alcoholism and co-occurring forms of psychopathology; the effectiveness of community prevention programs for enhancing developmental outcomes during the first six years of life; and the effectiveness of university-community partnerships.
Pennie Foster-Fishman
Research interests primarily focus on understanding social and systems change, both as they unfold within communities as well as within service delivery systems. My current research project with the Kellogg Foundation includes looking at how to generate the systems change needed to reduce inequities in education and economic outcomes.
Zaje Harrell
Research focuses on health behaviors, particularly the context of race and gender in physical and psychological well-being. My work is centered on women's use of culturally sanctioned substances, mainly alcohol and nicotine. I have studied how depression, disordered eating, and coping are related to alcohol and nicotine use.
Robin Miller
Research aims to understand the role of prevention and evaluation science in community-based practice. I seek to understand the science-practice gap within the context of the prevention of HIV infection among men who have sex with other men and the community-based and grassroots initiatives that are at the center of AIDS prevention work on behalf of these men.
Deborah Salem
Current work focuses on mutual help and consumer run services for persons with serious mental illness. This work explores how these settings influence and support their members and assist them in recovery.
Cris Sullivan
Research and intervention focusing on violence against women, including developing and evaluating community interventions for battered women and their children, and evaluating victim services.
