Women ARISE is a community-based organization in Detroit that provides support and services for women involved in the criminal justice system - many of whom struggle with issues related to interpersonal violence.

The Allstate Foundation has launched The Allstate Foundation Domestic Violence Program to provide support to victims of domestic violence. The Allstate Foundation is committed to targeting long-term resources to ending domestic violence.
Alternatives For Girls (AFG) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located in southwest Detroit, Michigan, serving homeless and high-risk girls and young women. Since 1987, AFG has provided critical services to program participants, including safe shelter, educational support, vocational guidance, mentoring and counseling. The goal is to empower girls and young women to make positive choices. AFG helps them repair their lives, rescue their dreams and restore their faith in the future.
Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter is a home for abused women located in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
The Battered Women's Justice Project offers training, technical assistance, and consultation on the most promising practices of the criminal and civil justice system in addressing domestic violence. Staff attorneys and advocates can provide information and analyses on effective policing, prosecuting, sentencing, and monitoring of domestic violence offenders.
Caring House is a shelter located in Iron Mountain, MI and is dedicated to helping provide support and shelter to survivors of domestic violence.
For over twenty-seven years Center for Women in Transition has been in the business of assisting women and children who are dealing with significant life challenges resulting from domestic violence, sexual assault and divorce. Center for Women in Transition has been opening doors for women and children facing these and other life-changing situation.
SafeHouse Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault in Washtenaw County, Michigan. SafeHouse provides free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives or works in Washtenaw County. Our programs include counseling, court accompaniment, information and referrals, emergency shelter and personal advocacy.

SafeHouse provides services to all survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault regardless of ethnicity, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, relationship status, veteran status, current or former substance use, current or former involvement with the criminal justice system, religious affiliation, immigration status, physical or mental ability, health status, height or weight.

With nearly 50 years of experience, Erie Family Health Center serves nearly 30,000 patients annually through eight primary sites, including three elementary school-based health centers, a teen health center and a dental health center. Erie provides individuals and families with access to the following services regardless of their ability to pay.

Founded in 1977, the Council Against Domestic Assault, now known as EVE, Inc., was Lansing's first domestic violence shelter. EVE's House provides free residential and non-residential supportive services to victims of domestic violence within Ingham County. EVE offers 24-hour crisis line support, safe, temporary emergency shelter, family and individual counseling, advocacy, support groups, children's programs, community education and personal protection order assistance.

The Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MCADSV) is a statewide membership organization whose members represent a network of over 70 domestic and sexual violence programs and over 200 allied organizations and individuals. They provide leadership as the statewide voice for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and the programs that serve them since 1978. MCADSV is dedicated to the empowerment of all the state's survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Our mission is to develop and promote efforts aimed at the elimination of all domestic and sexual violence in Michigan.
The department, one of the largest in state government, is responsible for health policy and management of the state's publicly-funded health service systems. About 2 million Michigan residents will receive services this year that are provided with total or partial support from MDCH. The department was created in 1996 by consolidating the Department of Public Health, the Department of Mental Health and the Medical Services Administration, the state's Medicaid agency. The Office of Drug Control Policy and the Office of Services to the Aging were later consolidated with MDCH.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is Michigan's public assistance, child and family welfare agency. DHS directs the operations of public assistance and service programs through a network of over 100 county department of human service offices around the state.
The Michigan Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Board (MDVPTB) was established within the Michigan Family Independence Agency (now known as the Department of Human Services) in 1978 by state legislation that created a Governor-appointed Board responsible for focusing state activity on domestic violence. The Board administers state and federal funding for domestic violence shelters and advocacy services, develops and recommends policy, and develops and provides technical assistance and training.
In 1990, when the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service was named in his honor, Senator Muskie challenged students, faculty, and researchers to make a real difference in the lives of the people of Maine and the nation. My Sister's Place in Detroit
My Sister's Place is a non-profit, Detroit based program of The Women's Justice Center. This 60-bed shelter offers emergency placement for a period of 30 to 90 days to women and children seeking a safe haven away from physical and emotional violence. With a home atmosphere, My Sister's Place provides comfortable and attractive living quarters and offers multiple services provided by trained and caring staff members.
The U.S. National Network to End Domestic Violence is a membership and advocacy organization of state domestic violence coalitions, allied organizations and supportive individuals. Today, the NNEDV is the leading voice among domestic violence advocates, developing policy that changes the way this country deals with this complex and far-reaching problem.
National Resource Center on Domestic Violence
NCADV's work includes coalition building at the local, state, regional and national levels; support for the provision of community-based, non-violent alternatives - such as safe home and shelter programs - for battered women and their children; public education and technical assistance; policy development and innovative legislation; focus on the leadership of NCADV's caucuses and task forces developed to represent the concerns of organizationally under represented groups; and efforts to eradicate social conditions which contribute to violence against women and children.
National Sexual Violence Resource Center
The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is a comprehensive collection and distribution center for information, research and emerging policy on sexual violence intervention and prevention. The NSVRC provides an extensive on-line library and customized technical assistance, as well as, coordinates National Sexual Assault Awareness Month initiatives.
The Night Ministry connects with Chicago's vulnerable youth and adults through our street outreach, youth shelter and supportive services, and our mobile health outreach bus. We provide basic resources, free healthcare, housing and supportive services for youth, referrals to other agencies for specific resources, in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.
PCADV is recognized as both a state and national leader in the movement to end violence against women and children. PCADV operates the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence, is a partner in the national Battered Women's Justice Project, and coordinates the National Electronic Network on Violence Against Women.
Safe Horizons offers shelter and support services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or homelessness. The services and support programs are delivered to the community in a variety of formats ranging from shelter and housing to support groups and legal assistance. All Safe Horizons facilities operate a 24 hour crisis line, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Trained operators provide crisis counseling, information and referral for individuals experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault and/or homelessness.

The Mission of the Sexual Assault Services of Calhoun County, MI. is to work to eliminate all forms of sexual violence and to provide empathic, non-judgmental support and advocacy for all victims of sexual assault in Calhoun County, Michigan. Sexual Assault Services of Calhoun County offers a variety of comprehensive services to sexual assault victims, their families and to the community. We assist any victim of a sexual assault, ages 13 years and older, who reports the crime within 96 hours of its occurrence. We examine both males and females.
In 1980, Turning Point opened a fifteen-bed shelter through the grassroots efforts of community volunteers who wanted to provide a supportive and safe environment for victims of domestic violence. It was one of the first programs of its kind. In 2005, Turning Point celebrated its 25th anniversary. Since the shelter first opened, the agency has evolved and expanded into a variety of services including our resale shop, a larger shelter, a sexual assault department, and most recently, our Forensic Nurse Examiner Program (FNEP) and personal Protection Order Center. Throughout the past 25 years, Turning Point has remained committed to keeping people safe from violence.
Underground Railroad, Inc. serves all residents of Saginaw County who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. In operation since 1977, Underground Railroad, Inc. is the only provider of emergency shelter, services, leadership and programs to end domestic and sexual violence in the community. Domestic violence does not discriminate! Every race, religion and economic group is affected. Annually Underground Railroad, Inc. provides shelter for over 500 women and children, and over 4,000 families in Saginaw County access one or more of our services.
The Office of University Outreach and Engagement (UOE) applies MSU's land-grant mission by bringing the benefits of University knowledge to the public. UOE tackles priority issues of concern to society by encouraging, supporting, and collaborating with MSU faculty and community partners to generate, transmit, apply, and preserve knowledge. The aim of this work has always been to enhance the quality of life and the economic viability of Michigan residents and beyond.

Willow Plaza Services is an Ingham County Health Department initiative to address the health needs of Ingham County adolescents, particularly needs related to pregnancy prevention and infant mortality. Willow Plaza Services strives to improve the overall health status of Ingham County adolescents through community awareness, direct services and health promotion activites.
WISE
WISE is a grassroots shelter located in Big Rapids, MI that provides services and support to domestic violence survivors.
Women ARISE
Women ARISE is the only nonresidential program in Southeast Michigan that offers gender specific programming. We provide holistic wrap around services (substance abuse treatment, employment training, family reunification, cognitive skills, seminars, etc.) as well as serving as a service center assisting women with case management and referral services. We have weekly support groups, legal seminars, advocacy sessions as well. Our agency is a safe non-judgemental environment for the women to address and receive support for the many obstacles they face. Women ARISE has a speaker's burea and also conducts training and consultation on a wide variety of criminal justice issues.
The Women's Resource Center serves Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties. Established in 1977, the WRC is a nonprofit, community based organization and is dedicated to serving the women and families of northern lower Michigan.
Established in 1885, the YWCA of Kalamazoo is a part of the oldest autonomous women's membership organization in the world. Since then, we have continued to evolve to meet the changing needs of women and families.
