2008
Nicole Buchanan received the Carolyn Payton Early Career Award for research making “a significant contribution to the understanding of the role of gender in the lives of Black women.” She also received the International Coalition Against Sexual Harassment Researcher Award “in recognition of your contributions to sexual harassment research.”
Rebecca Campbell received the Distinguished Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest Award (Early Career), American Psychological Association.
This award recognizes scholars who have advanced psychology as a science and contributed significantly to the public interest while still in the early stages of their careers.

Nicole Buchanan received the Association for Women in Psychology’s Women of Color Award for empirical research publications that “contribute significantly to the understanding of the psychology of women of color.”
