Research in the Department of Psychology focuses on examining the mind and behaviors. Faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral associates in our department employ a variety of research methods to answer questions about the human experience. Research in our department focuses on multiple factors that influence human behavior- from hormones and neurotransmitters to cognition, from the role of genetics to the role of environment and social interactions. Our faculty's areas of expertise vary, but we share the goal of contributing new insights to the field of Psychology and improving people's lives through ethical cutting-edge research.
