McKenzie Javorka is a doctoral student in the Ecological-Community Psychology program. She is broadly interested in violence against women with a focus on sexual violence. More specifically, she is interested in institutional and policy responses to campus sexual assault. She is currently working with Dr. Rebecca Campbell on a grant with the Michigan State Police to address unsubmitted sexual assault kits (SAKs). She has also done research with Dr. Carrie Moylan (School of Social Work) on campus-level predictors of sexual assault and with Dr. Adrienne Adams on economic abuse and coerced debt.
