The April Access Spotlight is on Avvan (AH-vuh) Sanjana, a licensed therapist who supports students through her work at the MSU Center for Survivors. Her personal interests and family background has made her particularly passionate about multicultural therapy approaches and support for individuals who are immigrants or the children of immigrants, international students, or first-generation college students.

                                        MSU study finds number of US nonparents who never want children is growing

Recent data from Pew Research Center suggest that Americans are rethinking whether they want to become parents. This could be part of a long-term trend, as a research team from Michigan State University found that the percentage of nonparents in the United States who never want children has doubled over the past 20 years.
