The Kamerschen-Pearson Endowed Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate Psychology majors based on the following criteria:

  • Academic Achievement
  • Leadership
  • Campus and Community Involvement
  • Michigan Residency

This scholarship is awarded to students following their first semester at MSU. Eligible students are contacted by the Psychology Department in March and are required to complete an essay explaining how they meet the criteria for the scholarship. Preference is given to those students with financial need but who may not otherwise qualify for financial aid.  Preference is also given to those students who intend to pursue careers in applied social and behavioral sciences.
