MSU Twin Registry partners with Pistons for first-ever twin theme night

December 14, 2023 - Shelly DeJong

A bobblehead of twin NBA players The MSU Twin Registry and the Detroit Pistons are partnering for the first-ever “Twin Night” on Friday, January 12th at the Little Caesars Arena.

The Twin Night celebrates twin brothers Ausar and Amen Thompson, who became the first siblings (and twins!) to be selected top-10 in the same NBA Draft. Ausar was selected with the fifth overall pick by Detroit, while Amen was selected by the Rockets with the fourth overall pick.

The Twin Night will feature a giveaway of interlocking bobbleheads of Ausar and Amen Thompson to the first 5,000 fans, an anthem performance by the twin sister duo of Jaida and Jessica Turner, as well as a halftime performance by Ain’t Afraid, a twin act raised in the Motor City.

The Pistons will also offer a “Twin Night” ticket offer which includes a ticket to the game on Jan. 12, the Thompson twin bobblehead, and access to a post-game experience with Ausar and Amen. A portion of each ticket sold will also be donated to the MSU Twin Registry.

Tickets can be purchased at Pistons.com/twinnight. To sit with the Michigan State Twin Registry, select tickets in Section: G.
