Social / Personality is a dynamic and interdisciplinary field that examines the interactions of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, traits, and behavior from individual, dyadic, and group-level perspectives. This research area focuses on understanding various aspects of human social behavior and personality development.

Highly cited researchers: our faculty are respected and well known contributors to the field of Social Personality. In fact, several have an H-Index of over 85.As leaders in the field of Social and Personality, we study a wide range of topics from interpersonal relationships to belief systems, from well-being to personality genomics. And so much more. We work to gain insights into the underlying mechanisms that shape human behavior while also advancing our understanding of human interaction.

Through our research efforts, faculty members and graduate students alike, strive to make meaningful contributions to both academic knowledge and society as a whole.
