Ignacio Acevedo

Biography

Ignacio Acevedo is an Associate Professor in the community psychology PhD program at Michigan State University, where he also serves on the faculty of the American Indian and Indigenous Studies, Chicano/Latino Studies, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies programs. Originally from Mexico and of mestize (Hñähñu, Binnizá, and european) descent, his current research spans two areas. First, applied research on adolescent sociopolitical development (e.g., how to promote community engagement).
