Biography

Dr. Liu's primary research interest is in visual selective attention. Selective attention is necessary to deal with the overwhelming amount of sensory information that we receive constantly; it is critical for successful task completion in our natural and social environment. In addition to visual attention, I am also interested in two related topics: visual working memory and decision making.
