Sean Hankins, MSW

Sean Hankins, MSW, is the director and an instructor of ADP and is dedicated to the success of the students, youth, and staff involved in ADP. Sean is a steadfast advocate for youth that experience marginalized trauma and soul wounds. He has worked in human and social services for over 30 years with a focus on mentorship, youth advocacy, Positive Youth Development, Social Emotion Learning, Hope Theory, Positive Psychology, SMART Goal Development and Social Capital. In addition to directing ADP, Sean has created programs for youth who have experience trauma from human trafficking, domestic violence, physical, and sexual abuse. His mission is to provide opportunities for success for young people.

Emily SF Zagurny, MSW MPH

Emily SF Zagurny, MSW MPH, is the assistant director and an instructor in ADP. She was involved in ADP during her undergraduate career at MSU and has continued with the program ever since. Emily’s goals are to promote the professional development of her students, to facilitate growth and connection, and to support both students and youth towards their next step.
