RESEARCH
My research is focused primarily on understanding how employees' attitudes, values, and competencies interact with and inform their experiences within the workplace. I'm currently involved in a range of projects such as work on employees' perceptions of and intentions to join workplace unions, courage in facing identity-related conflict, changes in work values in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, follower perceptions of leadership style, the predictive validity of structured interviews, and the development and validation of a work and cultural context generalized measure of cultural competence.
I hope to approach these problems from a perspective that is grounded in a respect for the experiences and perspectives of minoritized and underserved communities while following best practices in advanced quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
