Ana received her MA in International Planning and Ph.D. in Program Evaluation and Planning, with a minor in Agriculture and Rural Development, from Cornell University. Since then she has 20+ years working in international development monitoring and evaluation in Africa and Asia with numerous donor agencies, local and international NGOs, and UN organizations. Her areas of expertise include HIV/AIDS care and prevention, maternal and child health, governance, climate change, agriculture, food security and livelihoods. Ana is an active member of the American Evaluation Association and is a co-founder of the Bangladesh Monitoring and Evaluation Network (BMEN) and the Myanmar Monitoring and Evaluation Association (MMEA). Ana is currently working on a publication on Data Quality Management and a series of articles on Buddhist Approaches to Evaluative Thinking.
