RESEARCH

As the workforce becomes increasingly diverse, what can organizations and individuals do to ensure that all people have equal opportunity to thrive in the workplace? Broadly, my research addresses this question by investigating the psychological and structural barriers to workplace inclusion.

My current work focuses on two major lines of inquiry. First, I study the cognitive and contextual factors that relate to attitudes about increasing workforce diversity and organizational policies to promote inclusion. Second, I study occupational issues that affect individuals across the neurodiversity spectrum (e.g., people with autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, dyslexia, and related neurocognitive differences), with a focus on improving equal employment opportunities.
