My current research interests broadly focus on questions relevant to the future of work, with an eye toward implications for education and work-related policies. At MSU, I am working in the WAVE lab and the Careers & Workforce Science Research Group on several projects exploring workforce development in the context of the changing nature of work, community college career pathways, and the impact of work-based learning on student outcomes.
Prior to my role at MSU, my doctoral research broadly examined psychological processes that hinder social change and social equity. During my doctoral studies, I also worked as a graduate research assistant at the Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research. There, I evaluated undergraduate research programs and studied how research teams adapted to virtual and hybrid environments. This work fueled my current interest in conducting research with tangible impacts on educational and work policies and programs.
