Lindsay is a first-generation college student. She started her college coursework at Lansing Community College before transferring to Central Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Psychology and Family Studies. After her undergraduate degree, she completed two years of an AmeriCorps program at Alma College. Lindsay then completed her Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs Leadership at Grand Valley State University. During her graduate program she had practicum experiences in academic and career advising and an assistantship in financial aid.
Lindsay began working in the MSU Psychology Department in 2016. She enjoys getting to hear the wide variety of interests students have in selecting Psychology as their major and assisting them in achieving their education and career goals. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids taking summer camping trips, attending MSU sporting events, and having family movie nights. A few of Lindsay’s hobbies include crafting, sewing, and DIY projects. Lindsay especially loves the fall and listening to Luke Combs music.
