Research

I am a personality psychologist interested in the longitudinal interplay between personality characteristics, subjective well-being, and health in individuals, couples, and families. More specifically, my research focuses on how—within individuals—these characteristics shape each other over time and how—within relationships—partners and family members codevelop and shape each other's developments. My research fellowship at Michigan State University is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
