This year's speaker will be Dr. Nancy Hill, professor of education at Harvard University and alum of our former developmental psychology program. Dr. Hill studies how race, socioeconomic status, and community context shape youth's opportunities for upward mobility, particularly during secondary and postsecondary transitions. Dr. Hill's work also examines the relational supports and developmental processes that influence adolescents' sense of purpose and economic views as they transition to college and their careers.
