Meet Lily Florian — a highly motivated MSU senior from Stevensville, MI. Her academic journey is focused on Psychology with a minor in Youth and Society & Educational Studies through the College of Education and Social Science. Lily is proud to be a member of the Honors College, a testament to her dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
Lily's interests extend far beyond academia. Her passion for human rights, mental health, and effective communication are some of the many qualities that make her stand out. She also firmly believes in the power of positive relationships and is always seeking new ways to foster them. Lily indulges in simple pleasures like watching movies, baking and photography when she isn't busy with her studies and social commitments. These hobbies provide a much-needed respite from college life's daily hustle and bustle.
Lily's dedication to making a difference on campus is admirable. As a representative of the Homecoming Court, she has a vision of helping students find their place at MSU and discover more about themselves. She understands that every Spartan experience is unique and is passionate about motivating others to take risks and grow in different environments. Whether exploring new courses, attending campus events or starting a new club, Lily strives to empower her fellow Spartans to take advantage of all that MSU offers.
Lily's ultimate goal is to ensure every student feels welcome at MSU. Her objective is to support and give back to all Spartans who are still finding their way. Her favorite place on campus is the Horticulture Garden, which she finds a peaceful and tranquil oasis amidst the chaos of college life. With Lily's unwavering commitment to making a difference, it's no surprise that she is one of our 2023 Homecoming Court honorees.
