3 PSY graduates receive MSU Board of Trustees' Award for academic excellence

Three graduating psychology students have earned a distinction few achieve — a perfect 4.0 GPA. At its Dec. 12 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees honored these students with the Board of Trustees Award, recognizing their exceptional academic performance. Each was also recognized during the Social Science commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 and received a special cord as part of their academic regalia.

The College of Social Science students honored for this achievement include: 


  • Caelan O. Pitlanish, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Royal Oak, Michigan.

  • Connor A. Yee, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.

  • Isabelle M. Zablock, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Novi, Michigan.
