Seventy-seven fall semester graduates, including three majoring in psychology, accomplished an enviable feat throughout their time at Michigan State University — earning a perfect GPA.

During its Dec. 13 meeting, the MSU Board of Trustees presented the graduating seniors with the Board of Trustees Award, which recognizes and honors their achievement of the highest scholastic average one can receive: a 4.0 GPA.

In addition to the award, the students will also be recognized during their individual commencement ceremonies in December and receive a special cord to adorn their robe.

The psychology students who received recognition are:

  • Ava R. Skaff, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Plymouth, Michigan.
  • Miguel L. Trevino-Fica, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science, is a member of the Honors College from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
  • Jenna S. Young, who earned a bachelor’s in psychology from the College of Social Science and is from Frankton, Indiana.
