Why were you interested in this position?
I enjoy working with students and love being able to use my skills to help them achieve success in their own journeys. Being an APC is an extremely rewarding and fulfilling position. It brings me joy knowing I can make a difference and help students complete their academic milestones.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy time with my family, doing yoga, and playing with my cat, Lola. I also enjoy reading when I have quiet time and making bread for friends and family…we love bread!
Current book you're reading?
Currently reading Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would love to fly because airline tickets cost too much. Plus, the idea of being as free and light as the air just seems so mesmerizing. I would definitely need to invest in a good helmet to keep the bugs out of my face though.
Best advice you ever received?
“Adjust, adapt, and overcome any obstacle placed before you.” - my mom 😊
