What is PSY Future Scholars?

This program offers graduate students additional support in tandem with their graduate program area. It specifically focuses on graduate students from underrepresented backgrounds (broadly defined).

 

What type of support is offered?

  • Affinity mentorship – having an additional mentor outside of your program that you can customize to your interests.
  • Specialty training by faculty members in the psychology or other department areas that are tailored to your needs.
  • Funding in the form of small grants to support research and professional development (up to $500/year, first-come, first-served).
